FRANCE-INVESTIGATION-HEALTH-CHILDREN
French gendarmes inspect the campsite "Le Kerou" on July 11, 2014 in Clohars-Carnoet, western France, after the hospitalization of nine children due to gastric disorders. The nine children who were participating in a summer camp in Brittany were hospitalized in Lorient (Morbihan) for gastric disorders, likely to be viral and without gravity, leading to the hospitalization of five other youngsters at the same camping site. The announcement today of these hospitalizations occurs two days after the death of an eight-year old boy following a gastro intestinal infection that may be linked to "the ingestion of non-drinkable water" at a camp located in the Pyrenees.
