Funeral Held For Two Civilian Killed BY Indian Army In Kashmir

Indian government Tuesday imposed a stringent curfew in most parts of Srinagar after Indian army killed two civilians and wounded two others on Monday. The troopers of Indian army's 53 Rashtriya Rifles while trying to stop a vehicle during a checking at the main market in Chattergam last evening had shot at the car after it allegedly didn't stop. In the incident, four persons who were travelling in the vehicle sustained critical bullet wounds and two died. Stone-pelting clashes also broke out at many areas in its adjoining area, reports said on Monday, Indian forces used tear gas shells and opened volley of shots in air to disperse the protesting youth.
