A photo taken on April 29, 2015 shows an exterior view of the Fort du Portalet in Borce, south-western France. Built between 1842 and 1875 as a defensive place near the French-Spanish border, it became a jail for 3rd French Republic politicians during the "Regime de Vichy", authoritarian regime that actively collaborated with Germany between 1940-1944 during the WWII, and later for Marechal Philippe Petain, French President during the German Occupation, who spent three months there after his trial in August 1945.
