Last Germanwings Crash Victims Are Buried Near Crash Site

PRADS, FRANCE - JULY 24: A plaque commemorating the victims of Germanwings flight 4U9525 that crashed on March 24, killing all 150 people on board, stands on the same day that a burial ceremony for the last victims of the crash is scheduled to take place at nearby Le Vernet on July 24, 2015 in Prads, France. The last unidentified remains of victims of the crash will be buried at the cemetery of St. Marthe's Church in a closed ceremony to be attended by family members. Co-pilot Andreas Lubitz was suffering from severe and long-term depression and deliberately piloted the plane into a mountainside not far from Le Vernet. Meanwhile a group of family members of victims in Germany have publicly critisized Lufthansa, the parent company of Germanwings, for what they claim are meager offers of financial compensation.
