A truck collects washed salt at the Exportadora de Sal (ESSA) company plant in Guerrero Negro, Baja California Sur state, Mexico on March 03, 2015. The salt production process employed by ESSA is known as Solar Evaporation of Sea Water", which basically consists in two stages: First, sea water concentration until saturated brine in sodium chloride is obtained and second, sodium chloride crystallization, which is later collected and washed.
