Japan's 'Heavenly' Trekking Route Reopens At Mt. Daisetsuzan

HOKKAIDO, JAPAN - JUN. 28: Around 40 people passed longitudinally through a 12-kilometer trekking course on the Daisetsuzan mountain ranges as the route reopened for the summer season in central Hokkaido, northern Japan, on June 28, 2015. During the nine and a half hours of the walk, the trekkers enjoyed watching alpine plants while snow still remained on the surfaces of the mountain ranges which ingenious tribes since ancient days called “Kamuimintara (God’s playground).'
