CLEAN:Clean-up begins after the burning of Bangkok

Bangkok shop owners surveyed on Friday (March 21, 2010) the devastation around a movie theatre which was one of 36 major buildings torched by militants after the crushing of the Red Shirt movement which had been pushing for the ouster of the government. A massive clean-up operation was under way in the capital with bulldozers and workers wielding brooms and power hoses shifting piles of debris left behind from the protests and Wednesday's offensive, which left 15 dead.
