Bank of England warns inflation could fall below zero by spring; ENGLAND: London: Bank of England: INT Mark Carney (Governor of the Bank of England) into Bank of England Inflation Report press confernece with others/ Mark Carney press conference SOT - inflation is at its lowest level since the introduction of inflation targeting two decades ago, it will likely fall further, potentially turn negative in the Spring and be close to zero for the remainder of the year/ as a consequence I've written a first open letter to a Chancellor explaining why inflation is so low and what the MPC is going to do about it - and I'll likely have to write a few more before the year is out
