Brooks Robinson Making Diving Catch
Baltimore third baseman Brooks Robinson holds up the ball in his glove following a diving catch on a line drive hit by Reds catcher Johnny Bench during 5th inning play of Game 3 of the 1970 World Series. The Orioles defeated the Reds 9-3, to take a 3-0 lead in the series. In addition to this spectacular catch, the All-Star third baseman also hit a home run.
