(Original Caption) 6/13/1968-Beverly Hills, CA- Former football star Jim Brown (R) appeared briefly in municipal court on charges of assaulting a Sheriff's Deputy. The case was continued on the request of Brown's attorney, Richard Covey (L). A more serious charge of assault with intent to commit murder was dropped when fashion model Eva Marie Bohn-Chin refused to sign a complaint. Miss Bohn-Chin stated from her hospital bed 6/12 that her injuries were caused when she fell.
