Birds Are Ringed At Start Of Autumn Migration

The annual 'State of UKs Birds, which was published at the end of 2017 in conjunction with the RSPB, British Trust for Ornithology, the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust, and Natural England, highlighted the changes in birds migration patterns as directly linked to global warming. According to the report Birds such as Swallows, Garden Warblers and Whitethroats are staying in the UK for up to four weeks longer, while some Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs arent migrating at all causing numbers to rise.
