Bobby Thomson, Larry Jansen, and Sal Maglie (l-r) celebrate in their locker room following the Giants' Game 3 playoff victory over the Brooklyn Dodgers, giving them the National League championship. Thomson hit a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth, giving the Giants a 5-4 victory, and sending them to the World Series against the New York Yankees. Larry Jansen was credited with the win after Sal Maglie threw for most of the game.
