(Original Caption) Miami, Fl.: Dade county police in gas masks and helmets push back a crowd of several hundred Haitian demonstrators outside the Krome Avenue detention camp 12/17, and moments later broke up the crowd with tear gas. Demonstrators started pelting police officers as they arrested a demonstrator. The Haitians said they were showing their solidarity with the Haitian hunger strikers inside the camp.
