Most medaled French athlete, Mimoun has during his career captured 32 French champion titles, middle distance, long distance, cross and marathon between 1947 and 1966. He won four Olympics medals : gold, marathon1956, silver, 5,000 m in 1952, 10,000 in 1948 and 1952. World cross champion in 1949, 52, 54 and 56. French selection recordman (85).
