U.S. Humanitarian Aid Flows To Georgia

The humanitarian aid was delivered by the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Dallas (WHEC 716), to be distributed to the people of Georgia. Dallas arrived with more than 76,000 pounds of supplies in response to the request of the government of the Republic of Georgia, following Georgia's incursion into the breakaway territory of South Ossetia and neighboring Russia's invasion in response.
