(Original Caption) 9/30/1964-Hollywood, Calfornia: A real happy couple Tippi Hedren, Hollywood film star and Mayor of Universal City, and talent agent and manager Noel Marshall. That's because they were just proclaimed man and wife by Dr. A. J. Soldan, pastor of the Lutheran Village Church of Westwood (Sept. 27). The bride wore a pale green lace suit, with tiny flowers in her hair. Mrs. Marshall was born in New Ulm, Minnesota, and moved to California with her family when she was a high school sophomore. She owes her distinctive nickname, Tippi, to her father who bestowed it on her when she was an infant. It derives from Tupsa, a Swedish term for little girl.
