The harvest festival of Baisakhi derives its name from the month of Vaisakha i.e. April-May. It is celebrated 13 April every year and 14 April once in 36 years. Traditional dance like Bhangra and Gidda are main attractions of the day. Baisakhi holds a special significance for the Sikhs as on this day their tenth Guru Gobind Singh organized the order of Khalsa.
