HYDERABAD, INDIA: India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh (2L) throws rose petals onto the funeral pyre of former Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao in Hyderabad, 25 December 2004. Rao, who died 23 December, aged 83, had a history of heart ailments, and was hospitalised in New Delhi on 08 December,after suffering a heart attack,was India's prime minister between 1991 and 1996, a period during which the country embarked on pathbreaking economic reforms.
