Refugees on Samos
25 March 2019, Greece, Vathy: The most primitive dwellings made of plastic tarpaulins determine the picture in the refugee camp on the Greek island of Samos. Around 4500 refugees and migrants live here. They have been forced to settle around the island's so-called hotspot, a former prison which, behind its steel fences reinforced with barbed wire, offers space for just 650 people.
