Diane Sawyer, "Junior Miss" in New York
Miss Diane Sawyer, America's "Junior Miss," takes a look at New York with a stroll outside the American Hotel, March 18th. Miss Sawyer won her title at Mobile, Alabama, on March 16th, in competition against 49 other girls, each representing a state. While in New York she will be interviewed on television and by magazine editors. As America's Junior Miss for 1963, Miss Sawyer is the symbol of the country's "Ideal High School Senior Girl." She's from Louisville, Kentucky.
