(Original Caption) Mrs. Aimee Semple McPherson, Los Angeles Evangelist, receiving a check from Look Magazine, presented by Joseph Fainer, Mrs. McPherson's attorney. The Evangelist recently filed suit for $1,500,000 damages against the publishers of Look, in objection to her article appearing in the magazine concerning her activities. When the suit was dismissed for lack of jurisdiction, the publishers announced that they would give Mrs. McPherson a check for damages anyway.
