People demonstrate during mass anti-NATO
People demonstrate during mass anti-NATO rally organized by pro-Russian Regions Party in eastern Ukrainian city of Donetsk on April 3, 2008. European leaders kept Georgia and Ukraine waiting at NATO's doorstep in a major setback for US President George W. Bush at his last summit of the transatlantic alliance. Georgia and Ukraine are not yet ready for NATO candidate status but should become members of the alliance one day, a NATO official said at a summit in Bucharest on Thursday.
