Police Arresting Berkeley Demonstrators
Police bind the hands of demonstrators who were subdued during a clash with 2, 000 demonstrators marching on a University of California at Berkeley property on May 15, 1969, which students and non-students had recently taken over and turned in to a "People's Park." At least 39 persons were injured, including five police officers, as police fired tear gas and sawed-off shotguns to disperse the crowd.
