The structure is the first of its kind anywhere in the world and is the result of a partnership between the Edinburgh Science Festival, creator of some of the world's most innovative touring science shows, and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world's leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.The Bio-Bubble has been designed as an interactive learning environment in which children gain a sense of the dynamic nature of cellular life.
