Sturgis was freed on $10,000 bail on November 2, after his arrest on charges of threatening a woman who reportedly told authorities that Sturgis shot at president John Kennedy the day he was in Dallas. Sturgis had no comment on the arrest and Goldfarb would only say, "He's innocent of all charges," promising a further statement on November 3rd.
