(Original Caption) Wilbur Shaw (center), president and general manager of the Indianapolis Speedway, is flanked by Ernest Roose (left) and Ray Grimes as they look at a 1955 model at the Chrysler Corporation proving grounds. Shaw had been testing the Chrysler in preparation for a magazine article he was writing. The photo is the last taken of the three men who were killed that night flying back to South Bend, Indiana. Shaw's funeral will be held November 2nd.
