Have you ever walked between the raindrops Felt the prairie grasses between the breath of each breeze Felt the sunlight shine between the passing of clouds Felt the longing of a loved one between the blinks of sight It's those little moments of time that life makes for magic. Another work of short poetry or prose to complement the image captured one morning in Wind Cave National Park while walking the Rankin Ridge Nature Trail. I'd been to this same spot about a week prior but had only experienced overcast skies and some off and on light rain. Yeah, the views that day weren't that great for seeing far off locations along this ridge and height, but today it was! Most definitely it was! So that's what I was trying to capture with this view and decided to angle my Nikon SLR camera slightly downward to bring out that view looking down across this draw between two spurs while still attempting to include the blue skies and clouds above. I felt the two together with their different colors complemented each other for the final image.
