Heat Wave Continues Over Germany
Winemaker Tobias Breit (28) fills his tank with water for his vine yards on a searing 34 degrees Celcius hot day on August 6, 2018 in Bensheim, Germany. The vines suffer from the extreme summer heat and winemaker Tobias Breit is fighting for the survival of his grapevines. Over the last 3 weeks Tobias has irrigated his 15 hectares every day, using half a million litres of water. Each vine needs 20 litres of water and he expects a 30 percent crop loss this year.
