Baghdad, IRAQ: An Iraqi police cadet takes part in a parade during his graduation ceremony at Baghdad's Police Academy, 29 June 2006. More than 320 police graduated after a ten week training program aimed to instill discipline and respect for human rights. Iraq's police force, estimated at more than 150,000, has been plagued with indiscipline and infiltration by militiamen affiliated to the Shiite religious parties that now leading the government. This was underscored by the abduction of four Sunni Arab cadets coming back from leave to take part in the graduation.
