Indian Central Reserve Police Force sold

Three paramilitary troopers were seriously wounded in an ambush by suspected separatist rebels in India's northeastern state of Assam, a police spokesman said. The rebels, suspected to be members of the outlawed United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), triggered a remote-controlled bomb close to a crude oil refinery in the state's main city of Guwahati as paramilitary forces were on a foot patrol in the area.
