Fears of a second surge of migrant crossings into the Spanish North African exclave of Ceuta have intensified following anonymous social media calls and false online rumours claiming that the border with Morocco will open. This follows the crisis in late July where tens of thousands rushed the border due to misinformation surrounding a Spanish court ruling.
