Elizbeth faces the challenge of standing up for her rights, becoming the first woman to defend herself before the Privy Council in England. The play is performed in several rooms at Spadina Museum, surrounded by artifacts that the real Elizabeth Bethune Campbell would have seen in the social scene in Toronto. June 28, 2023.
