Auli is a part of Chamoli district in Uttarakhand in North India and is famous world-wide as one of the best destinations for skiing in India. Its elevation ranges from 2,519 meters to 3,050 meters above sea level. It is famous for splendid natural beauty & panoramic view of Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi, Mana Parbat, Dungagri, Beethartoli, Nikanth, Hathi Parbat and Ghori Parbat is clearly visible. ‘Nanda Devi Mountain’ is the famous and highest of this region which can be easily seen from Auli. the facility of ‘Cable Car‘ and ‘Cable Chair‘ which is the longest ropeway of Asia. It is 4 km long journey which takes around 25 minutes of thrilling ride.
