Scottish Independence: David Cameron interview; David Cameron interview continued SOT(re RANGERS FC + HMRC DECISION TO FORCE CLUB INTO ADMINISTRATION)- I want that club to survive and thrive/ It has extraordinary history and special place in many people's hearts/ I don't want to see that club disappear/ I hope HMRC [Revenue + Customs] will work to resolve issues and see Rangers going ahead(re BEING THE PM THAT OVERSAW BREAK-UP OF UNION)- I don't want that to happen/ I care about the UK - but plain fact is SNP have a majority in Scottish Parliament and their policy to break up UK / vital we put this question as promptly as we can before Scottish people and let them decide/ I dearly hope the Scottish people will decide to stay with the UK/ has all the strength to be a success over next 300/ need that decision to be made(re POSSIBLITY OF TV DEBATE WITH SALMOND)- Debate has not been fixed/ fix the date and question then hold the debate/ bad for Scotland to have this cloud of uncertainty over its future/ I'm certainly not feared of anybody/ legitimate given that people voted for SNP/ put question, hold debate/ hope decision is to stay within UK/ I don't say Scotland can't make it on its own, I say we are better off together, richer together fairer together/ solidarity in UK/ when one part is hit bu bad weather, floods whatever, we are there for each other/ strong argument to be made for the UK(re MANDATE TO HOLD REFERENDUM)- they have a mandate to hold referendum/ if Scottish people want to have that you cannot stand in the way(re MANDATE TO HOLD REFERENDUM IN SECOND HALF OF PARLIAMENT)- we need to agree between us date/ Salmond first wanted referendum in 1993 then 2010 - he's set a lot of dates/ I'm going to discuss and Michael Moore [Scottish Secretary] about right date for that/ strong case for getting on with it/ Scottish people want to have this debate/ there is a cloud over future while it's being left
